Three spots are available on the Board of Education. Here's who's running.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Seven candidates have filed to run for Bridgewater-Raritan Regional's Board of Education, with three spots on the governing body at stake.
Monday afternoon marked the deadline for hopefuls to file petitions for candidacy in New Jersey's school board elections, which will be held Nov. 4.
Board President Steven Singer, Board Vice President Emily Calistri, and Board member Langfang "Lucy" Li are all running for re-election to the board.

The candidate field includes four challengers: James Maloney, Kim Fajardo, Deanna Nye, and Ketrin Maxwell.
School board elections are nonpartisan. But candidates can choose a slogan to appear with their name on the ballot.
