Adamsville Primary Principal Leaving in May
She has taken a job as Mendham Borough superintendent.

Adamsville Primary School principal Mitzi Morillo will be leaving the district at the beginning of May to become superintendent in the Mendham Borough School District.
Morillo has been with the district for the past five years, according to Superintendent of Schools Michael Schilder.
“We wish her the best, success and happiness,” he said.

Morillo’s last day in Bridgewater will be May 3.
Hillside Intermediate School assistant principal Laura Zamrok will be serving as acting principal, beginning May 2. Schilder said May 2 and May 3 will serve as transition days as she works directly with Morillo, and Zamrok’s official first day will be May 6.

Zamrok will serve as acting principal through the end of the school year.
“She has 16 years experience, and is a former second grade teacher,” Schilder said. “She is excited about the opportunity to be acting principal for two months.”
And once Morillo leaves the district, the recruitment process for a new principal will begin.
In Mendham, the district has been looking for a permanent superintendent to replace former superintendent Janie Edmonds who retired in June 2012.
Former Chester Superintendent Dr. Thomas Butler has been leading the district since July on an interim basis.
