Joanne Agrusti

Joanne Agrusti [nee Mayzun], 62, of Bridgewater, died on Nov. 28.

Agrusti was born in Nyack, New York to Joseph and Stella Mayzun.

Before retiring, Agrusti was an elementary school teacher for 25 years with the . 

Agrusti was the beloved wife of Joseph L. Agrusti, and devoted mother of Laura Beth Agrusti, and Carolyn Morrisette and her husband Jonathan.  Agrusti was the dear sister of Susan DiCupillo, loving grandmother of Ethan Joseph, and cherished aunt of Stephanie Caputo, Richard Agrusti and Matthew Agrusti. 

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Friday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The family will gather with their relatives and friends for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Hillsdale on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Cemetery of the Ascension in Airmont, New York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Joanne’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
