Karen Bu Receives Schoiarship

Karen Bu, of Bridgewater is the recipient of a $2,000 ImC|one Systems Scholarship.

Bu is the daughter of Xiaoming Wang and Fanpeng Bu. She will graduate from Bridgewater-Raritan High School in June, and plans to attend New York University, majoring in international relations.

Bu has been involved in marching band, is a cellist with the chamber and symphony orchestras, and is a member of the creative writing club, the National Honor Society, the
National Spanish Honor Society, the National Music Honor Society, the National Science Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. She enjoys volunteering, music performance and working as a tutor.

The recipient ofthe lmClone Systems Scholarship is selected competitively on the basis of academic record and personal achievements. The program was established in 2005 for dependent children of employees.

ImC|one Systems is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, with manufacturing facilities in Branchburg,
administrative offices in Bridgewater, and research facilities at the Alexandria Center for Life Sciences in New York.
