The Society of Retired Nurses celebrated National Nurses Week at its recent meeting April 17. For the organization, this is also the celebration of its 10th anniversary.
The group meets at the County Human Services Building in Somerville, and it is made up of members from many different branches of nursing.
The goals of the organization are to provide a support network fo retired RN's, stimulate new relationships and re-establish old ones, provide education in areas of interest to the matured nurse, provide companionship of peers, open new areas of adventure and encourage volunteerism.
