The Bridgewater Middle School recently played host to Author's Literary Day, welcoming local authors sharing their young adult and children's works.
Featured authors were B.G. Kain, born and raised in Bridgewater, and Warren resident Corey Rosen Schwartz.
During the evening, the authors spoke about their books and answered questions.

"It was informative and fun for the children of all ages," said Laura Waitze Zuckerman, who attended the event. "I think it was a wonderful way for children to not just see a name on a book, but learn about the author, who they are, where they came from and how they were inspired to write books. It also put a face to a name."
Books were sold at the event, and authors signed them and wrote special messages to each child.
