Bridgewater, Raritan Runners To Race In 2024 Boston Marathon

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater runners will be lining up on Monday along with nearly 30,000 others to tackle one of the most iconic and notable road races — the 2024 128th Boston Marathon on April 15.

The Boston Marathon takes place each year on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War.

Here is a list of the Bridgewater runners:

• Joyjit Kundu, 50: Wave 1, Corral 7, Bib No. 6741
• Yuhu Yan, 50: Wave 1, Corral 7, Bib No. 6139

Here is a list of the Raritan runners:

• Alex Windrem, 49: Wave 4, Corral 6, Bib No. 29340

There are several ways to track participants on race day:

• Download the Boston Athletic Association's racing app, which is free on iPhone and Android devices.
• Follow along on the B.A.A. website, which will change April 15 to allow people to track runners on race day.

Here's the schedule of starts:

• 9:02 a.m.: wheelchair division, men
• 9:05 a.m.: wheelchair division, women
• 9:30 a.m.: handcycle and duo participants
• 9:37 a.m.: professional men
• 9:47 a.m.: professional women
• 9:50 a.m. para-athletics divisions
• 10 a.m.: Wave 1
• 10:25 a.m.: Wave 2
• 10:50 a.m.: Wave 3
• 11:15 a.m.: Wave 4

How to Watch:

• ESPN2 will broadcast the 128th Boston Marathon, scheduled to take place on Monday, April 15, on its flagship channel from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
