Bridgewater Residents Sound Off on Snow Plowing
How have the roads in your neighborhood fared during the blizzard? Find out what your neighbors said on Facebook.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Winter Storm Jonas brought between two to three feet of snow to New Jersey causing approximately 90,000 power outages and coastal flooding in the southern part of the state.
As of Monday, the State of Emergency has been lifted, power has been restored to most of NJ and bridges and tunnels to New York City have been reopened.
Still, hundreds of New Jersey school districts announced closures and motorists are warned to continue driving with extra caution.

We asked Patch readers if they were happy with the plowing done on their block. Here’s what you said:
- “Definitely not! Evergreen is a total mess. They only went half way and once you go down can’t come back up. Bottom of the hill is very icy. They really need to come with salt truck.”
- “No. Back roads are not salted or plowed much.”
- “What plowing? We’re untouched!”
- “I haven’t seen any street that has been plowed well, including high traffic routes like Route 22.”
- “Passed by our street multiple times and only plowed when the neighbors called. We have an emergency responder on our block too.”
- “The Hillside School Neighborhoods are single-lane only on roads. With a single lane that means the snow mountains are 4 feet high 8 feet from each curb. Can’t get anywhere near mailboxes and fire hydrants.”
