Bridgewater Township Council: George Jones
Democratic challenger for three-year term.

George Jones, a veteran of the USAF and lifelong township resident, ran for mayor in 2011 and is making a bid for a Township Council seat.
He has served on the township's planning and zoning boards, and was employed by the township for 35 years in the police department and the zoning department. He also operated a retail business in the Bridgewater Commons for 18 years.
Jones is married and raised three children.
He told The BReeze.com he's concerned about growing bond issues, citing the township's long-standing one-party control of the council as limiting information to residents.
