BRMS Performing 'The Little Mermaid'

The play will be held Friday at the school.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School will be performing "The Little Mermaid Jr." as its spring musical Friday at the school.

The 60-minute musical will be held at 7 p.m., and is based on the 2008 Broadway show—which was based on the 1989 animated feature film.

A total of 60 students will be performing in the musical, which is being directed by Fran DiFazio and Ken Nadzak, and choreographed by Phil Solomon.

"This is one of the most talented group of students I've ever had," DiFazio said in a release about the play.

The show contains songs from the 1989 feature film, as well as a few from the Boradway musical. The show is about a young mermaid who leave her home under the sea to live in the world above the sea.
