How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

Amwell Pet Supply, besides providing the community with top-of-the-line information, pet food and products, serves as an adoption site for hundreds of cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

Hope Valenti, the owner of Amwell Pet Supply, unfailingly steps in to rescue abandoned and unwanted animals. She has two rescue groups, CAPIC cats and AARG, Amwell Animal Rescue Group, which provide vetting and care for the animals, thus ensuring they are healthy for their forever homes.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

Hope Valenti's passion and avocation is caring for and rehoming unwanted pets. She does so tirelessly.
