Child Stuck On Jungle Gym, Rescued By Emergency Responders In Somerset County
Firefighters, police, and EMS worked together to free the child stuck between two bars of the jungle gym on Wednesday.

BOUND BROOK, NJ — Police, firefighters, and EMS worked together on Wednesday to rescue a child stuck on a jungle gym in Bound Brook.
At around 4:22 p.m., Bound Brook Police, Bound Brook Fire Department, and Bound Brook EMS were called to Codrington Park off Thompson Avenue, where a child had become stuck between two bars of the jungle gym, said Bound Brook Police Sgt. Robert Pikulin to Patch.
"The fire department quickly and safely extricated the child, who was uninjured," said Pikulin.

A coordinated response by firefighters, the police, and EMS helped to free the child quickly and safely, with no reported injuries, said the fire department.
"We applaud the quick and professional work of all first responders involved, whose teamwork ensured a safe and positive outcome to a potentially frightening situation," said Pikulin.
