BRIDGEWATER, NJ — How better to celebrate the holidays than to offer your home to a cat or kitten in need? Luckily, it's easier than ever at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, which plans to put some 40 more cats and kittens up for adoption in the coming weeks.

The effort kicked off on Friday with 10 new kittens listed for adoption. Although they are not yet on the shelter's PetFinder page, manager Brian Bradshaw said they are available for adoption by appointment.

In addition to the kittens posted for adoption on Friday, another 15 will be posted on Saturday. Next Tuesday, 15 more cats and kittens will go up for adoption.
