NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - A downed pole and wires on Route 22 has prompted commuting delays in the area Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:09 a.m., there's a downed pole and wires on Route 22 in both directions east of West End Avenue in North Plainfield, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently open, the agency said.
