The Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County is hosting its second annual comedy show, featuring comedian Uncle Floyd. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Literacy Volunteers, which is a non-profit organization that provides free one-to-one and small group tutoring to functionally illiterate adults. The tickets will include a buffet dinner and cash bar. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Uncle Floyd had a television show broadcast throughout New York and New Jersey from 1974 to 1998. He has appeared on other television shows since then, and is currently a regular on Sirius Satellite's The Wise Guys.
