Five Below To Open Off Route 22 On Somerset/Union County Border

WATCHUNG, NJ — Five Below is coming to the Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung.

The national value retailer signed a 10,000-square-foot lease at 1702 Route 22. The announcement follows the recent opening of a flagship ShopRite supermarket and the debut of brand-new Planet Fitness and KidStrong locations at the property.

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers also recently got the green light from the Watchung Planning Board to open a restaurant with a drive-thru in the shopping center.

Moawad, LMC senior leasing representative, who negotiated the Five Below lease. "The company’s expansion into this center reflects the strength of the market and Blue Star’s appeal to top national brands."
