Harmon bid $50,191 for the lease at the shopping center that also houses Wegmans and Home Depot.

Party City had filed for bankruptcy in December 2024 when it also announced the closure of its Bridgewater store. The auction was part of its bankruptcy proceedings to satisfy its debtors.

"We're excited to reopen in this location as many customers used to shop at out Raritan, NJ store," a Harmon Spokesperson perevously told Patch.

Harmon previously had a location in nearby Raritan off the Somerville Circle. However, Harmon announced the closure of its Face Values location in Raritan and Green Brook as part of the company's reduction plan in January 2023.

Harmon isn't the only new tenant coming to the shopping center. The Bridgewater Planning Board approved an application in January for Chick-fil-A to replace the long-closed Ruby Tuesday restaurant.
