Kangaroo Kids Child Care and Learning Center celebrated 31 successful years as Hall of Fame Teachers Get Ready for the School Year

In the tradition of a Kangaroo Kids community service efforts, money was raised for Autism in the name of Julia Gust, whose twin sister was a student at Kangaroo Kids, and is the poster child for Kangaroo Kids Autism Fund Raisers. It was a huge success as over $1,000 was raised for Autism Speaks.

As the fall approaches it is time for Back to School Night at Kangaroo Kids. Hall of Fame Teachers prepare sample lessons and guide the parents through the educational elements of the daily curriculum, such as math, literacy, science experiments and social studies during Back to School Night. To be a inducted into the Kangaroo Kids Hall of Fame you must be an outstanding teachers working at Kangaroo Kids for 5 or more years. Parents also will get a sampling of some of the art, science and music enrichment courses that supplement their daily activities. Chinese and Spanish language lessons have also been added to the curriculum for all children ages 3 and up. Children also enjoy the benefits of gardening and in the summer have an opportunity to swim in our onsite pool.

This Back To School event is open to the community and existing parents, as teachers will be speaking about developmentally appropriate curriculum for any child from infant through kindergarten. Call the school at 908-231-7800 for specific details.

Kangaroo Kids Child Care and Learning Center was awarded #1 in America by the National Association of Child Care Professionals and is one of only 7% of schools nationwide to achieve accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. They are proudly celebrating their 31st Anniversary of providing high quality early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks old through 8 years of age. Kangaroo Kids has infant, toddler and preschool programs as well as before and after school activities, summer camp and a full day private school kindergarten and a Kindergarten Prep Program.

Kangaroo Kids family friendly program strives to create a partnership with parents where children can learn and grow in an environment that is warm and nurturing. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to participate in a wide array of activities which extend learning beyond traditional classroom activities.
