Family involvement is key for Kangaroo Kids. Teachers and parents’ partner to create the best possible environment for children. Kangaroo Kids hosts many family centered events to build lasting bonds and create lifelong memories.
In January, Kangaroo Kids hosted Muffins for Mom. It is a favorite event for the Mom’s at the school. Mom’s take time out of their busy schedules to share a special time with their children. Together they make crafts, sing songs, read stories and share muffins.
According to Executive Director Kathy Feigley, “Muffins for Mom brings so many smiles to the faces of children and Mom’s. The most precious gift a parent can give to their child is their time and this event provides an opportunity to be together in a meaningful way. It also gives the parents an opportunity to connect with their child’s teachers. We believe a partnership between parents and teachers is best for children.”
