The store is now hiring 50 employees for full- and part-time roles, including Store Team Leads and Sales Associates.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — L.L.Bean, the outdoor lifestyle brand, is coming to Somerset County very soon and is now hiring.
The brand will open its fourth store in New Jersey and first in Somerset County this July at Chimney Rock Crossing at 348 Chimney Rock Rd off Route 22 in Bridgewater.
The location was formerly home to Cost Plus World Market, which closed at the end of December 2020 due to the impacts of the coronavirus.

In the new nearly 16,000-square-foot retail store, residents will be able to explore L.L.Bean’s four-season assortment firsthand, from moisture-wicking shirts and breathable summer styles to weather-resistant outerwear and layers built for cooler months.
"Bridgewater’s strong ties to outdoor recreation made it a natural fit for our next location," said Greg Elder, Chief Retail Officer at L.L.Bean. "With the town’s proximity to parks, trails and year-round outdoor opportunities, it’s an ideal home for our next store. We’re excited to become part of the community, helping residents gear up for their adventures and fostering a deeper connection to the outdoors, no matter the season."
