New Cowboy Boot, Western Wear Store Sets Opening Date For 1st Somerset County Location

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The national western apparel chain Boot Barn will host a grand opening for its first Somerset County location at Bridgewater's Somerset Shopping Center off the Somerville Circle.

The grand opening will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at 353 Route 202/206 in Bridgewater.

Boot Barn leased 14,200 square feet at the shopping center and is occupying the storefront formerly home to EMS, which closed last summer.

Founded in 1978, Boot Barn offers western and work-related footwear, apparel, and accessories for men, women, and children.

"The Western-inspired fashion aesthetic is experiencing a major resurgence, and Boot Barn is a great addition to Somerset Shopping Center. This latest addition is one that reinforces the property’s enviable position as a top choice for best-in-class tenants," said Vanessa Kelty, LMC senior leasing representative, who arranged the Boot Barn lease on behalf of property ownership.

Boot Barn’s arrival follows recent openings by Strand Salon Studios and Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and a new lease with Style Brow Bar at the 219,000-square foot Bridgewater property at 395 Route 202, which is leased and managed by Levin Management Corporation (LMC).
