Newmans Lane Bridge Not Opened
Work appears substantially finished but roadway is still closed.
The smooth pavement and a wide shoulder beckons, but the new bridge over the West Branch of the Middle Brook is still closed, Friday.
County officials had hoped to open the bridge today, but as of 2 p.m. Friday, the road closed signs are still blocking the bridge—as well as front end loader parked horizontally across the middle of it.
