BRIDGEWATER, NJ — While most people are sweating in the scorching temperatures outside, there's good news for Halloween fanatics: Spirit Halloween is opening a location in Bridgewater.

The company has a sign outside the former Chuck E. Cheese site at 600 Promenade Blvd. in Bridgewater in the Bridgewater Promenade. The kids' play place closed on April 7, 2024, "based on the lease expiration terms."

An opening date has not been set, and locations have not officially been announced on Spirit Halloween's website, which says to check back in August for a full listing.

Spirit Halloween carries everything from animatronics for your lawn to costumes for kids, adults, and even your feline and canine companions.

Because the Halloween store is a franchise with thousands of independently run locations across the country, there is no official company-wide "opening day." Each fall, the seasonal store brand secures short-term leases at vacant spaces, leasing from mid-July to early November.
