Somerset County Office of Youth Services Hosts Teen Marijuana Use Panel Discussion
The panel discussion "Marijuana & Its Effects on the Teenage Brain" will be held November 2.

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Laws have changed since the 1980s commercial campaign that equated a sizzling egg to a teen’s brain on drugs. Today, there are 25 states, including New Jersey, that have legalized medical marijuana. Many teens now view it as a safe recreational drug, but what are the facts? What effect does marijuana have on the developing teenage brain?
Somerset County Freeholder Brian D. Levine invites parents, guardians and professionals who work with children and families to a panel discussion that will focus on the impact and repercussions of marijuana use by teenagers.
