Sports Bar Looks to Take Fuddrucker's Spot
If approved, restaurant could switch to Mexican fare by spring.
According to a report on MyCentralJersey.com, Bridgewater's Fuddrucker's could become Tequila Joe's Sports Cantina, with a possible transfer of the restaurant's liquor license in November.
The report says the new restaurant could open as soon as next spring, according to the attorney representing Tequila Joe's of Bridgewater principals Susan Seetharaman, of Freehold, and Amit Patel, of Piscataway.
The liquor license transfer requires a review by police and state Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, as well as approval by the Township Council. Township Clerk Linda Doyle told MyCentralJersey.com that if the paperwork is cleared, the transfer could come before the council in November.
