TRAFFIC ALERT: Emergency Bridge Repairs in Bridgewater

Somerset County officials informed residents of emergency repairs that need to be made to the Thompson Avenue Bridge in Bridgewater.

Emergency bridge repair work will begin Wednesday, April 15, at County Bridge No. H0812 on Thompson Avenue near the Chimney Rock Road intersection.

The repairs are expected to be completed over the next three weeks. All work will be performed during daytime hours. The Bridgewater Police Department will assist with alternating single-lane traffic on Thompson Avenue at and adjacent to the bridge.
