18-Year-Old Essex County Man Fatally Shot on Irvington Street
Meneca Ryner, 18, was fatally shot on Tuesday night on Lincoln Place in Irvington. Police are searching for suspects.
An 18-year-old Essex County man was fatally shot Tuesday night on Lincoln Place in Irvington, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
No arrests have been made in the shooting death of Meneca Ryner of Irvington, and no suspects have been identified in the active investigation.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers announced the report of Ryner’s death in a statement to the press on Wednesday afternoon.

The Essex County Prosecutor added that the shooting took place at 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the vicinity of 70-72 Lincoln Place in Irvington. The Essex County Homicide and Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the shooting.
