April Is Scholarship Month for Caldwell-West Caldwell Seniors
Applications due before the end of the month for more than two dozen scholarships.

April is Scholarship Month at James Caldwell High School.
Throughout the month, the James Caldwell High School Scholarship Fund Committee, an H.S.A. League committee, works to promote the more than two dozen scholarships available to seniors through a single application.
The completed application, which is available on the district website, must be submitted to the Guidance Department by Wednesday, April 24. Late applications will not be accepted.

The James Caldwell High School Scholarship Fund was founded in the early 1960s as a non-profit organization. The fund administers monies received from direct contribution, fund-raising (such as annual mail campaigns), and memorial gifts.
Several JCHS Scholarships of $1,500 are awarded to students with a grade average of 83 who are in need of financial assistance to attend a two- or four-year college or trade school.

A number of scholarships are given in memory of members of the Caldwell-West Caldwell community.
Other scholarships are awarded by community organizations and businesses, including the Historical Society of West Caldwell, the West Caldwell Volunteer Firemen's Association, the West Essex Woman's Club, R&R Marketing, Lakeland Bank and Kearny Bank.
