Volunteers Present Garden Plan, Board of Ed Meets and Spring Runs in the Week Ahead

—The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education will meet on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Harrison School. The board is expected to honor outgoing Caldwell-West Caldwell Education Foundation President Marie Lanfrank for her service to the district.
—The Caldwell Council will convene on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Volunteers from Project Main Street are expected to present their plans for Caldwell Beautification Day to the council. They'll seek permission to plant a perennial garden at the Green.

—West Caldwell's governing body will meet Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
—Wednesday is the last day to vote for local trainers competing in the Fit or Flop Competition, which is searching for America's next fitness stars.

—The Caldwell Police Department will present the Vial of Life Project for Seniors at the Grover Cleveland Senior Center on Thursday at 1 p.m.
—College Football Hall of Famer Donald McPherson and John Gallucci, Jr., medical coordinator for Major League Soccer will discuss education and athletics at James Caldwell High School on Thursday at 7 p.m. The free program is open to the public.
—Spring run season is here. Patch will bring you a guide to area 5Ks, 10Ks etc.
—Speaking of spring. It's time for decluttering. West Caldwell residents can bring their unwanted electronics to the Municipal Building parking lot on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon.
