Caldwell Public Library Unveils 10 New Computers

Funds raised at Mayors' Legacy for Literacy help replace aging public access computers.

The Caldwell Public Library Foundation officially donated 10 new public access computers to the Caldwell Public Library this week.

Funds for the computers were raised at the Mayors' Legacy for Literacy Gala last November.

Mayor Ann Dassing, members of the Caldwell Borough Council, and members of the Library Board attended a reception at the library on Tuesday where Library Director Adele Puccio pointed out new features and the increased computing speed.

All 10 computers are Dell model 9010 and were custom-configured for public library use. The computers were installed this past Sunday to prevent having public downtime during normal operating hours.
