Caldwell School to Perform Classic Play "Our Town" On November 21
Mount St. Dominic Academy will perform Our Town on Nov. 21 and 22. The students will act without props or a set and mime their actions.

Mount St. Dominic Academy High School students will perform Our Town, a classic play by American playwright Thornton Wilder, on November 21 and 22. The play features a cast of talented students and local residents from around Essex County and northern New Jersey.
The three-act play is set in the fictional American small town of Grover’s Corners and tells the story of average citizens in the early twentieth century as depicted through their everyday lives. Scenes from the town’s history between the years of 1901 and 1913 are performed without a set and the actors mime their actions minus the use of props.
The MSDA play features West Orange residents, Emily Ascherl ‘16, Julia Baum ‘16, Nicole Goldberg ‘17, and China Llanos ‘16; West Caldwell resident, Liana Zaino ‘17; Caldwell resident, Aleah Colon-Alfonso ‘18; Fairfield resident, Jennifer Jones ‘15; Essex Fells residents, Emily King ‘16 and Nell Marootian’18; Verona resident, Gillian Schuldiner’15; Belleville resident, Angela Boland’17; North Arlington resident, Julianna Kocenski’18; Little Falls resident, Heather Burgers’18; Union City resident, Andrea Garcia’18; Woodland Park resident, Jessica Cuntrera’18; Totowa resident, Annette Yoo’17’; Woodland Park resident, Megan Callahan’18; and Midland Park resident, Starr Shapiro’17.

Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday Nov. 21 and 22, at 7:30pm in the Doris M. Byrne Center for Performing Arts at Mount St. Dominic Academy. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at Showtix4u.com and prices are $8 for students and senior citizens and $12 for adults.
