—Funeral arrangements for U.S. Army Sgt. Derek McConnell, who was raised in North Caldwell, will take place next week at Par-Troy Funeral Home in Parsippany and Notre Dame Church, where he was a parishioner.
—The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education will have a special public meeting to present the 2013-14 budget on Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m., at Harrison School.
