History of Grover Cleveland Park Topic of Talk
Presentation part of 100th anniversary celebration of Essex County park.

Essex County's Grover Cleveland Park turns 100 in 2013 and the park’s conservancy members are planning events all year long to mark the anniversary.
Next up is Highlights of a Century: Grover Cleveland Park, the second in a series of presentations about the park, at the Caldwell Public Library on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m.
Richard Cummings, a member of the Grover Cleveland Park Convservancy’s founding Board of Trustees, will discuss the history of the park from its origins in the early part of the 20th century to its rebirth at the start of the 21st century.

The Conservancy partnered with the Essex County Park System in 2001 to begin a rehabilitation of the park land, located in Caldwell and Essex Fells.
Cummings has lived in Caldwell for 47 years. He contributed the entry on the borough for the Encyclopedia of New Jersey.
