Caldwell High Junior Wins Dartmouth Book Award
The annual award is presented to a student who ranks in the top 15 percent of his or her class and exhibits high moral character.
James Caldwell High School junior Joseph Salter is the recipient of the Dartmouth Book Award for 2013.
Salter is a member of the National Honor Society, plays saxophone in the school’s concert and jazz bands, is a quarterback for the Caldwell Chiefs football team, works on the school newspaper design team and swims breaststroke for the swim team.
The award is presented to a junior student who ranks in the top 15 percent of his or her class and is of high moral character. He or she must also excel in at least one non-academic area.
