Local Shops Share Their Picks for Prom

You can find everything from the dress to the accessories to the flowers right in Caldwell.

Prom season is here in the Caldwells, which means teenagers are scurrying to get their outfits and looks together for the big night. 

Patch asked local businesses to share some of their favorite looks for prom. 

Dale Lazarovitch at My Daughter's Closet, a consignment shop for tweens and teens just off of Bloomfield Avenue on Brookside, has been open a year this week and is excited for her first prom, dance and graduation season.

"My goal is to make the girls feel really special," Lazarovitch said.

Her consigned dresses start at $50 and go up to brand new gowns for $400, with most falling between $100 and $200.

She has popular Jovani dresses, as well as Dave & Johnni, Bedazzle, BCBG, Sue Wong and Jessica McClintock. 

Lazarovitch said she gives lots of personal attention to her customers and will open by appointment to accommodate teen's busy schedules.
