Charity Auction, Middle School Musical and More in the Week Ahead

Here are some of the stories we're working on and what's happening this week in the Caldwells. See you around!

— Here are 5 Things You Need to Know about Earth Day, which is Monday. Also, there will be a special program for students in K-2nd grade at the West Caldwell Public Library. 

—The North Caldwell Council will discuss the 2013 municipal and capital budget at a special meeting on Monday, at 6:30 p.m. The budget meeting will be followed by the regular council meeting at 8 p.m.

— Monday is also an early dismissal day for elementary school students in Caldwell-West Caldwell Schools on account of parent-teacher conferences.

— Grover Cleveland Middle School will present School House Rock Live! Jr. on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m.

— Local residents and students have until the end of the week to enter the Caldwell Environmental Commission's "Trees Are Terrific" Contest for cash prizes. 

—  a race against Alzheimer's will take place this Saturday in Roseland. 

—The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell will hold its first-ever auction for charities, A Bright Night to Make a Difference on Saturday.
