Mother's Day Plant Sales, First Pres Presents 'Urinetown', Caldwell Introduces Budget

Here are some of the stories we're working on and what's happening this week in the Caldwells. See you around!

— The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education will hold a conference meeting on Monday, at 7:30 p.m., at Harrison School.

— The Caldwell Council will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall. The council is expected to introduce the 2013 municipal budget. 

— The West Caldwell Council will convene at 7:15 p.m. at the township Municipal Building. 

— This is the final week to get badges for West Caldwell pools with the early-bird discount. 

— The Westminster Choir of the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell will present their spring musical, Urinetown, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

— The West Caldwell Public Library will hold its annual Collectibles Fair on Saturday. 

— Pick up some flowers for Mother's Day while supporting local organizations. The Essex County Master Gardeners will hold their annual plant sale in Roseland on Saturday and Boy Scout Troop 9 will hold their annual Mothers Day Plant Sale in West Caldwell on Saturday and Sunday.

— The James Caldwell High School American Cancer Society Relay for Life will take place Friday night to Saturday morning at Bonnel Field.
