Mount Track Team Competing in Penn Relays

The Mount Saint Dominic Academy track team is competing in The Penn Relays, starting Thursday in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 meets, school officials announced.

This is the fourth consecutive year that The Mount, located in Caldwell, has participated in the prestigious event in Philadelphia.

The Penn Relays dates back to 1895 and is one of the longest running and best attended meets in the world.

According to the Penn Relays website: 

• More athletes compete in the Penn Relays than at the Olympics.
• Athletes from more than 60 countries will be participating.
• More than 22,000 athletes are registered.
