Philly.com: Caldwell Political Junkies Attend Romney New Hampshire Rally

Christie engages in verbal sparring on jobs with protesters as locals look on.

In 1982, former House Speaker Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill coined the phrase, “All politics is local,” meaning a politician's success is directly tied to his ability to understand and influence the issues of his constituents.

According to a story on Philly.com, at a rally for Gov. Mitt Romney yesterday, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie got into a verbal spar with protesters about jobs, especially in New Jersey.

In attendance at the rally were two Caldwell residents, former Caldwell councilman Jeffrey Curley and his wife, Carolyne, who felt differently than the governor about the issue.
