Support Breast Cancer Research, Get Free Stuff

Pick up a few goodies in West Caldwell for a donation to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

A "free stuff" fundraiser for breast cancer research went so well Sunday, organizers have decided to do it again this week.

West Caldwell resident Devon Provan and several other local women donated items to give away in exchange for a donation to the Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure, which takes place Sunday in West Orange. The items were displayed much like a yard sale on Provan's front lawn Sunday and yielded an impressive $430.

The fundraiser will be repeated on Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at 115 Central Ave., West Caldwell.

One special item— a full 15-piece Noritake London Patience China set — will go to the person willing to make the highest donation for it.
