West Caldwell Elementary Teachers Compete in Pumpkin Painting Contest
The winning pumpkins chosen today at Wilson Elementary included a giant spider, and odes to Minecraft and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Franken-kitty, a bowling alley, a giant spider, and a giant cheeseburger were just a few of the pumpkin creations decorating the hallway at Wilson Elementary School, where teachers got creative with pumpkins donated by the Home and School Association (H.S.A.).
On Thursday, Oct. 30, students each placed a vote for their favorite pumpkin creation, each created by a Wilsom Elementary School. After the votes were tallied, three winners were selected.
“It is something fun and festive to do at this time of year,” Wilson School Principal Scott Keena said. “It shows the students that the teachers also enjoy Halloween and that a little bit of creativity can go a very long way.”
