West Caldwell to Introduce Budget, High Schools to Put on Musicals in the Week Ahead

Here are some of the stories we're working on and what's happening this week in the Caldwells. See you around!

—Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo will announce plans to make Grover Cleveland Park more accessible to people with disabilities on Monday.

—Tuesday is the final chance to walk the labryinth at the United Methodist Church of Caldwell during this Lenten season. The labryinth will be open from noon to 1 p.m. and at 7 p.m.

—The West Caldwell Council will meet on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. The governing body is expected to introduce the 2013 municipal budget. 

—The Caldwell Council will convene at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

—You can help a Caldwell Mom fulfill her dream of winning the 46th Pillsbury Bake-Off! Kim Van Dunk is a semi-finalist in the Amazing Doable Dinners category and the public's vote will get her to the final in Las Vegas this November for a chance to win $1 million. Voting is open through March 28.

—Local high schools will hold their spring musical performances later this week. James Caldwell High School is putting on and West Essex Regional High School is performing Sweeney Todd.

—Gould School students in fourth through sixth grade will perform Honk! on Friday and Sunday in North Caldwell.

—Brookside Avenue in Caldwell will continue to be closed due to water main work.
