West Essex Middle School Students Play Book Bingo During Teen Read Week
The Teen Read Week festivities at the North Caldwell school continued with Book Bingo, starring popular teen book titles such as Divergent.

West Essex Middle School students celebrated Teen Read Week with a rousing game of Book Bingo during their lunch study classes.
West Essex Middle School Librarian Catherine Spinella invited students to engage in this unique activity. Instead of cards with B-11 and 0-56, students put markers down for popular teen book titles including “Divergent” and “The Fault in Our Stars.”
Teen Read Week™ is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). It began in 1998 and is held annually during the third week of October. Its purpose is to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users.
