West Essex Middle Schoolers Raise Funds for the Red Cross in Halloween Costume Walkathon

Ninja turtles, unicorns, and even the Kool Aid man marched around the football field on Halloween to raise funds for the American Red Cross.

West Essex Middle School students dressed up for Halloween on Oct. 31 to participate in a special walkathon to raise money for the American Red Cross.

Students wore a variety of costumes ranging from the Koolaid man, to ninja turtles. The middle schoolers walked several laps around the football field with their friends during physical education classes to raise funds for the American Red Cross.

The event was organized by the West Essex Middle School Student Council, which raised $2176 for the American Red Cross.
