2 Trucks Hit Watchung Avenue Bridge
Police say the overpass was struck twice within a week.

Two drivers were issued summonses for careless driving after they hit the Watchung Avenue railroad overpass in separate incidents.
Patrolman Brian Colatrella investigated a truck that ran into the bridge along Watchung Avenue Friday at about 3:10 p.m., according to police.
Colatrella discovered a box truck, driven by Tolsieram Singh, 24, of Staten Island, N.Y., crashed into the bridge while traveling westbound from Summit, police said.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Officer Andrew Chase investigated a similar incident Wednesday morning. He found a box truck driven by Karman McNeil, 36, of Bronx, N.Y., struck the bridge shortly before 9:30 a.m., according to police.

McNeil stated he did not know the height of the truck he was driving, police said. He was not injured and he was issued a summons for careless driving.
