Gloria Strickland, the founding director of the All Stars of New Jersey, said the program has been building momentum for 13 years. “[We have been] bringing development to young people in our poorest communities and connecting them with the philanthropic, business and arts community of the Garden State," Strickland said.
"The center will be the country’s first center for afterschool development and will enable the All Stars to reach many more young people from some of the poorest communities in our state and put New Jersey on the map as a center of innovation in the afterschool arena."
