Chatham Native Receives McCallie School Alumni Achievement Award

Benjamin C. Halliburton of Chatham was one of 14 McCallie School alumni who received Alumni Achievement Awards at a September ceremony during 2011 Reunion Weekend festivities.

The Alumni Achievement Awards are presented to reunion-year McCallie School graduates who have shown outstanding accomplishments in a chosen career. Reunion-year alumni for 2011 included alumni from years ending in 1s and 6s.

Mr. Halliburton, a 1981 McCallie graduate, is founder and CIO of Tradition Capital Management.

McCallie, a college preparatory school for boys in Chattanooga, Tenn., is considered one of the nation’s top independent schools.
