Local Avon Lady Offers Special Fundraiser for ALS

Mary E. Litland, Chatham's local Avon representative, has committed to helping Avon sell 1 million Yellow Rose Necklaces to help support a fellow colleague.

One of Avon's top representatives, Sophia Smith, was diagnosed recently with ALS. Avon has designed a necklace in her honor. Seventy-five percent of the sale price will be donated to the ALS Foundation to help research a cure.

Linton said she she is thrilled to be part of Avon's efforts at "going above and beyond to show support for [their] representatives. I'm really proud to be an Avon rep."
