Boro Administrator Released from Ark. Hospital

Robert Falzarano will receive rehabilitative care while he continues to recover.

 

Administrator Robert Falzarano was released from Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. Thursday and is back in New Jersey.

Lt. Brian Gibbons said, "The is very happy to hear that he's back in New Jersey, where he is receiving outstanding rehabilitation care."

Falzarano rode in a medical transportation ambulance back to New Jersey, a journey of over 20 hours. Gibbons said he will receive rehabilitation treatment at an undisclosed location.

"He's showing signs of improvement, he is recovering," Gibbons said.

Falzarano was hospitalized for over a month . Falzarano was stabilized at the scene of the accident, then transported to the hospital where he underwent surgery and spent (ICU).

Falzarano's brother George was also wounded, as was the driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe who hit the three motorcyclists.

The three men were returning from a cross-country motorcycle trip at the time of the accident. All were wearing their helmets, according to the Arkansas State Police.

The driver who struck the trio, James T. Hearon of Ward, Ark., was admitted to Baptist Health but has been released.

Bill Sadler, a public information officer for the Arkansas State Troopers, said "troopers are awaiting toxicology and subpoenaed records" and the Lonoke County Prosecuting Attorney's office will ultimately decide whether to file charges against Hearon.
