Burglars Beware: Chatham Twp. Ranked Nationally Against Property Crime

It’s a new list every week, and just about all are favorable (except that one time).

Anyhow, protectamerica.com, which sells and analyzes home security systems, put out its rankings of the safest towns in America when it comes to property crimes.

The site analyzed towns with populations between 10,000 and 20,000 residents and the number of burglaries reported in 2014.

With that analysis, Chatham Township came in at number four overall, notching just three home burglary reports in 2014.

Chatham Township was joined by Hillsdale as the only New Jersey towns on the list. Hillsdale came in sixth overall.
